April is here and there is a lot to be excited about. Spring break is near and we’re looking forward to spending some downtime with our families. Easter is also coming up and that means egg hunts, Easter baskets, family time, and lots of beautiful spring flowers. Oh, and Reese’s Easter eggs, of course! Who can resist a chocolate and peanut butter combo?
In addition to sweet treats and holidays, baseball season is back! Dr. Vanourny’s favorite team is the Los Angeles Dodgers but, locally, he’ll be rooting for the Charlotte Knights. We can’t wait to go watch some of the games with our friends and family.
April 22nd marks a particularly important day: Earth Day. It’s so important to take care of our planet and find ways to recycle and create less waste. At our office, we like to use paperless charts to minimize the amount of paper we use. We also use a waste separator to protect water lines. If you’re looking to start changing small habits that will be kinder to our planet, try buying things that can be reused and washed instead of thrown away. Even the smallest changes make a difference!
